iOS 18.2 will be a significant update, considering the number of features it will bring to the iPhone 15 Pro models and the latest iPhone 16 lineup. In his latest Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg claims that Apple is looking to release the iOS 18.2 update for the iPhone with major Apple Intelligence upgrades in the first week of December. The release time frame is online with Apple's own schedule, as it has already confirmed that the update will arrive at some point in December.
While the company did not mention any exact release time frame, we now know when users should expect the update. As mentioned, the iOS 18.2 release will come with a handful of new Apple Intelligence features and extensions for existing features. Some of the features include Genmoji for generating custom emojis, Image Playground for generating custom images, and Image Wand to transform doodling into an image in the Notes app.
While these new additions are great, what we are most excited about is the company's ChatGPT integration with Siri, which has been in the works for a while and is also available to developers for testing purposes. While Siri would continue to exist on the iPhone and other Apple products, ChatGPT integration would allow the system to handle complex queries.
