How to Craft Tier 3 Gear and Obtain Ancient Naxxramas Patterns
In Patch 10.1.5, you are able to uncover the secrets of Naxxramas! Some of these secrets include the return of Naxxramas gear once lost to time, as well as the ability to craft Tier 3 gear (with a lot of gold and effort). In this post, we go through all the steps to unlock these secrets! To start this step, you must have unlocked Ancient Secrets within Naxxramas.
NOTE: Make sure you have your Argent Dawn Commission equipped at all times to obtain Scourgestones!NOTE 2: Make sure you have at least 2 Stratholme Holy Water before you start this portion of the Naxxramas secret! Creating a Makeshift GrappleThe first thing you need to do in Naxxramas is create a Makeshift Grappling Hook, which will be used to grapple around several points in Naxxramas. To create a grappling hook, you need to collect a few materials around Naxxramas:
Faerlina's Sewing Kit — As the name says, it's a drop from Grand Widow Faerlina. Construct's Hook — Located in the second room of the Construct Quarter, by a vat of slime to the right. Abomination's Chain — Chance to be fished from any slime in Naxxramas.The Construct's Hook location in the Construct Quarter. Once you have all three items, just combine them to create the Makeshift Grappling Hook! Once you use the Grappling Hook, several grapple points will appear in certain areas of Naxxramas.
Locating Zackett SkullsmashThe next step is locating a goblin NPC, Zackett Skullsmash. This NPC is located on the rafters above Thaddius's room, and requires grappling through the room to reach. We have a video showing all the required steps to reach the NPC. Once you reach the NPC, he will be «sleeping», bored of life. You can try poking at him, but that won't do much.
