Honkai: Star Rail Update 1.3 Bringing New Area, New Characters, and Added Upgrades to Simulated Universe
On August 30th, Honkai: Star Rail version 1.3, “Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins”, arrives The new update adds a new area, new characters, story and new features to HoYoverse’s latest release.
If you’ve been keeping up with all things in the game, the story will continue in this update. With the previous efforts to help resolve the Ambrosial Amber crisis and defeat Phantylia, there is much work to be done to clean up and help people recover in the aftermath. Version 1.3 will open up a new area, Aurum Alley, which will need to be cleaned up and repaired. You’ll be able to contribute to this effort to restore the alley and make it a viable commercial hub once more.
In addition to this, there will be additional characters available, with Dan Heng — Imbibitor Lunae, Fu Xuan, and Lynx. There’s even a new trailer for the update that will give a taste of what’s on the way, featuring some of the characters.
Lynx is a four-star Quantum type on the Path of Abundance. She’s part of a noble family, the Landaus, and has plenty of experience venturing out and training up her skills.
Imbibitor Lunae is Dan Heng, having inherited the title from his previous incarnation. He enters the game as a five-star Imaginary type that follows the Path of Destruction. He will use powerful abilities by consuming multiple skill points. With his Ultimate, he will deal Imaginary damage to one target and adjacent enemies, while also getting some Squama Sacrosancta, which should help offset the heavy skill point investment.
The Simulated Universe is getting some updates too, with “The Swarm Disaster”. This upgrade is named after a catastrophic event from ages ago. You'll have to navigate through some of the domains to learn more and take on
