Honkai: Star Rail will officially launch on PS5 this coming 11th October, but as the title has already been available for several months on PC and smartphone, it’ll be disembarking alongside v1.4. As is the cadence for all HoYoverse titles, the titanic Chinese developer will host a livestream later this week, on 29th September, to detail everything you can expect from the release’s next major refresh.
This will be of particular interest to prospective PS5 players, as it’s going to be interesting to see how the developer helps catch up newcomers. Obviously, there’s been a series of banners since launch featuring a number of limited characters, including Seele and currently Fu Xuan. But it’s going to be fascinating to see if it plots any reruns this early, or if PlayStation fans will have to wait.
Obviously, all of the story content already released will be available day one, but we’re expecting this to be a generous update from HoYoverse, as it attempts to entice PS5 newcomers with free pulls and in-game currency to help get them up to speed. We’ll of course bring you all the news after the livestream airs at 4:30AM PDT/12:30PM BST.

I was able to play during the beta test period and I can say that I enjoyed this more than I did Genshin. I'll probably continue playing when it officially releases (if my account doesn't get deleted or erased or something).
Hoping that cross save from PS5 to PC or mobile will work from launch. (It didn't with Genshin on PlayStation until much later)
