Chinese GPU maker, GITSTAR, has introduced a brand-new graphics card known as the JH920 which it claims is faster than NVIDIA's GTX 1050 with support for AMD's FSR.
According to the official specs sheet shared by GITSTAR, the JH920 comes with 4 GB of GDDR6 memory that runs across a 64-bit bus interface, delivering 96 GB/s of bandwidth. The graphics configuration or GPU variant isn't mentioned except the clock speed which is rated at 1.2 GHz. Computing power is rated at 1.2 TFLOPs (FP32). Previous GITSTAR GPUs have used the graphics chips from Chinese GPU maker, Jing Jiawei, so that might as well be the case with the JH920.
The GITSTAR JH920 comes with a Mini-ITX design that features a single fan in a dual-slot form factor that measures 173.29x126.35x41.89mm. The card consumes just 30W of power which means that it doesn't require any external power connector to boot. Besides that, you get support for OpenGL 4.0, Vulkan 1.1, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3.0 APIs. There's no mention of DirectX support. The graphics card also features HEVC (H.265) Encode & H.264 modes with support for up to four 4K60 displays with four HDMI 2.0 ports.
The Chinese GPU maker officially states that the GITSTAR JH920 is faster than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and should be very affordable when it launches later this month. One big feature of the card is support for AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution or FSR which is mentioned in the introductory video. The card is said to support all modes for even higher performance versus the native render. Besides that, the card also offers support within various content creation applications such as PS or Photoshop.
While details on its GPU remain grim, if the card can actually manage to hit performance numbers that
