has established itself as a bona fide and well-designed soulslike, and developers Neowiz Games and Round8 Studio don't appear to be resting on their laurels. The game first drew excitement because of its similarities to, but 's brooding and violent adaption of Carlo Collodi's manages to establish its own identity. While the game is a robust experience all told, and New Game Plus helps add replayability, the prospect of additional DLC is nonetheless exciting.

The base game for has three endings, and they all seem quite finite. While there is certainly room for the narrative to take a turn in a DLC expansion, most of the threads established throughout P's journey to stop the Puppet Frenzy reach a conclusion. The setting itself is rich, however, with Krat feeling definitively larger than just those areas explored in the game. Additionally, a post-credits scene seems to prime for a sequel, though apparent confirmation that DLC is in the works may hint that this tease will result in a story expansion instead.

Although a job listing is a promising sign of what's to come, there has been no confirmation from Neowiz nor Round8 Studio on the subject.
