Some witches and wizards are hoping for a Quidditch DLC, but there is a serious issue with broom mechanics that should take first priority, as it could ruin the potential experience altogether. The beloved wizarding world sport would make for an enticing, obvious expansion — after all, the Quidditch pitch has already been fully realized and is accessible by students, and Headmaster Black's excuse for canceling the season could easily be circumvented. However, there are some underlying concerns with broom flight, and the foundations of this feature should be improved before a Quidditch DLC for is released.
Thankfully, Portkey Games has ample opportunity to implement such improvements. There are currently no planned DLCs, which is good news for the health of the game, as it means that the developer will likely prioritize bug fixes, performance issues, and other quality-of-life changes before expanding on in-game content. There are plenty of features that could use the extra attention, such as character voice pitches or bugs with completion trophies. However, broom flight mechanics in should be at the top of the list, especially in consideration of a potential Quidditch DLC.

The broom controls in are lackluster at best, especially on controller. Whereas it would be more intuitive for players to manage both their altitude and the direction of their flight path on the left stick, these two inputs are instead split between both of the joysticks in a way that is confusing and difficult to master. PC players may struggle with finding the best settings for on PC, but they are at least able to enjoy more convenient (albeit not perfect) flight
