Some dark witches and wizards might not find this decision terribly difficult, but for those who are adamant about avoiding the dark arts or otherwise trying to be a good student and friend, the answer may not come so easily. Luckily, the solution to this dilemma is actually quite simple.
This isn't the only choice that students will have to make during "," though. It's the sole opportunity to learn Imperio, the mind control spell, and even though becoming a dark wizard has pros and cons, this Unforgivable Curse can be a tremendous help in combat. It's not required to learn Imperio to progress the quest, but this exclusive chance to learn a dark spell is something that players should bear in mind as they progress. After all, just like choosing whether Sebastian should take the relic in, it's something that warrants a bit of extra consideration.

Regardless of which dialogue option the player chooses, it won't affect the outcome of the situation, because Sebastian will always end up taking the relic. If the player encourages him to proceed with his plan, he'll unsurprisingly agree and take the relic — but even if they interject and express their second thoughts, the Slytherin student will emphasize that it's for the sake of his sister Anne, and move forward nonetheless. Unlike 's most important choices, this decision is rather misleading, as it initially appears as though students will be able to sway Sebastian Sallow's story in either direction, but unfortunately this isn't the case.
