Samsung is rumored to go ‘all out’ with the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, and the latest specifications provided by one tipster could be evidence that the company is preparing a proper iPad Pro competitor with laptop-equivalent hardware. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming flagship tablet.
Starting with the dimensions, Ice Universe published a tweet stating that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will measure 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm and that there will be no change compared to the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. He turned out to be right when we double-checked Samsung’s current-generation high-end tablet’s dimensions. The display is said to measure 14.6 inches diagonally, with a 2960 x 1848 resolution.
Compared to the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, there appears to be no difference here either, suggesting that apart from maybe tweaking the colors, brightness, power efficiency, and other attributes, Samsung may use the same panel for the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. If true, this is smart thinking from the company, as it helps the Korean giant avoid any unnecessary production cost increases. Also, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra was already too large to begin with, so there was no point in extending that display size.

The 11,200mAh battery is also said to be the same between both tablets, though a previous rumor mentioned that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra would feature a smaller cell.
