The highest-ever price that an original iPhone was bought for at auction is above $63,000. Now, it has been revealed that the auction was won by a YouTuber who has unboxed the original iPhone. The auction was won by Marques Brownlee or MKBHD on YouTube, who got the original iPHone for a whopping $40,000. He stated that he could have bought camera gear instead but with a unanimous decision from the team, it was decided that the money will be spent on an original iPhone. He goes on to share that original iPhones from 2007 are very rare and that it is very hard to confirm their authenticity.
