Many years after its original release, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is still considered as one of the best entries in the series created by Rockstar Games. Despite its immense popularity, the game has yet to be properly remade, and with Rockstar fully focused on the development of the next entry in the series, a remake would be released far off in the future.
Powered by modern technology such as the Unreal Engine 5, a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas remake would look amazing, as showcased by yet another concept trailer put together by TeaserPlay. While the recreation of Los Santos and its most dangerous citizens isn't perfect, it still looks amazing, making us hunger for a proper remake of the classic open-world game even more.
While a proper Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas remake is nowhere on the horizon, Rockstar Games attempted to update the first three 3D entries in the series back in 2021 with the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition collection. However, the remastered versions of the three games left a lot to be desired and are still far from perfect, even after multiple updates. Rockstar Games' next big title is set to be Grand Theft Auto VI, which will release on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date. Last year, early footage of the game was shared online, but the leak, however bad, will not influence the development of the game in any way.
