Last week, CAPCOM released a Resident Evil 4 remake playable demo called Chainsaw that allows players on PC and consoles to experience the starting sequence at the village before the game's launch next week. The demo, however, hides a few more secrets that are normally not accessible, as showcased by a new video shared online.
The new video, which was shared on YouTube by Kursed, uses Praydog's RE Engine Framework to take a better look at the village, making some interesting discoveries. While nothing major was discovered, the video is still an interesting watch to tide fans over until the game finally launches on March 24th worldwide.
While the Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo is a short one, it does a good job showing how CAPCOM modernized the original game's visuals and gameplay while attempting to stay as faithful to it as possible. Earlier this month, I had the chance to check out some more of the remake, and I couldn't help but notice how CAPCOM seems to have done an amazing job at improving both the gameplay and the atmosphere.
Resident Evil 4 launches on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on March 24th, 2023, worldwide. You can learn everything you need to know about the remake of the fourth entry in the popular survival horror series by heading here.
