Rejoice, mortals, the long wait to finally get your forsaken hands on Diablo 4 is almost over. Preload is now live for the first of two open beta sessions, which will kick off at 9 a.m. PT on Friday, 17th March and runs for three days, ending at 12 p.m. PT on Sunday, 19th March.
To gain early access and play this weekend (on either PS5 or PS4), you will need to have preordered Diablo 4. Next weekend, beginning on 24th March, the truly open part starts, with anyone interested being able to check out a sizable chunk of the game. On PS5, the preload was a robust 76 GB.
In addition, we learned that Ashava, one of the infernal World Bosses, will be dropping by. Four times, actually, over the course of the weekend, and it will take the combined efforts of many seasoned players to overcome her.
Will you be diving into Diablo 4's early access open beta this weekend? Which character will you be running with? Warm up those fingers in the comments section below.
