Mad World will launch on April 27th, Jandisoft announced, holding to the recent promise that a release date was about to be revealed.
If a dark, post-apocalyptic world where there are mutated creatures and bleakness, marked by a search for hope is your thing, well, you have less than a month to wait for the game. As a cross-platform, HTML5 MMORPG, the game stands out with its hand-drawn art and dark setting. Jandisoft has been sharing previews of the various elements to expect for a while, from lore, to bosses, and even some of the music to set the tone for the universe they’ve created.
Along with the launch, there will be early access for those that bought Founders Packs. These packs were always set to give a few days’ early entry when the game launched, so there are two tiers of early access available. First, if your pack includes five days of access, you can start on April 22nd, and for those with three days’ access, that entry begins on the 24th. For everyone else, the doors open on the 27th. When it comes to the schedule of the launch and early access, they’ll be announcing more details soon.
To support the coming launch, in addition to the team having shared clips over social media regularly over the past couple of months, more is on the way. The official site got some updates not long ago, where there was a handful of lore and systems info shared. Jandisoft is encouraging catching up on the odd and dark world, the setting, and more by getting into that content and promises more to come.
“In addition to the chronicles of Mad World , we're currently working on a guide regarding its universe. We will do our best to bring it to you as soon as possible.”
