The trailer for Gran Turismo’s upcoming movie, which got rave reviews from critics after debuting behind closed doors, will be publicly released tomorrow. A short teaser, which showcases some stunning racing shots, has aired in advance to whet your appetite. The film will officially roll out in theatres this August.
Starring the likes of David Harbour and Orlando Bloom, the film is based on the real-life story of Jann Mardenborough, who advanced through the GT Academy to transition from gamer to professional driver. Neil Blomkamp has taken on directorial duties, and has used some cutting-edge camera tech to shoot the exhilarating racing scenes.

It's no longer a case of trying to become the highest grossing videogame movie. The aim now is to have the honour of being second to the Mario movie.
