Live-streaming platform Twitch is raising the monthly price(Opens in a new window) of its ad-free monthly subscription service Turbo from $8.99 to $11.99 in the US.
Twitch has changed its pricing for Turbo across the globe; it published a full country-by-country breakdown on its help site(Opens in a new window).
Current Turbo members will get a three-month grace period before the price hike hits, Twitch said in an email to users. It won't automatically renew at the new price, though; you'll need to opt in before the three months is up, or your subscription will be halted.
As The Verge notes(Opens in a new window), subscriptions in some countries are getting a price cut. To take advantage of that, though, you'll need to cancel your subscription and resubscribe.
