Several weeks afterthe huge update to Unreal Engine 5, Mortal Online 2 is closing out 2023 with a new patch and a holiday event, along with participation in holiday sales.
Hanging out in Tindrem will be many who flock to find and salvage what they can from the burning house of one Krampos Buccus. The Krampos event is on now, and it won’t be hard to find where to go. The distinctly burning house is located in Tindrem’s main district, along the northeast side. There are raffle bags outside the house and you can try your luck to see what gifts the holiday will hold for you. Star Vault’s not quite traditionally merry event is the Raffle of Caerus, and it’s available now.
The team also issued a new patch yesterday, with fixes and some more additions. Added additional points of interest, buildable bridges over some of the rivers, and they've added Nvidia Reflex Low Latency and DLSS Frame Generation to the settings for those running supported GPUs. They've also fixed a few visual issues, an issue that was causing some buildings to be placed really close to other buildings, and an issue where roads that were supposed to be blocking placement were not blocking building placements, leading to people placing buildings on the road. With the community, they’ll always test the limits, and that does at least help the team to find and fix the issues.
There were a number of technical fixes, like adjusting characters’ torchlight, and a slate of UI improvements. This includes increased, clearer font sizes on guild names when targeting players, the outlines of the nation and its lawless zones on the map have been updates, and more.
