A Genshin Impact chart shows the sales difference between the two five-star characters, Yelan and Hu Tao, that were featured in the previous Limited Character Banner. As the game's roster keeps getting larger with every new update, the double banner mechanic has become very common, and it seems like every update offers four different limited five-star characters, two for each banner cycle.
Over the last couple of months, developer HoYoverse has also introduced a pattern of featuring one new five-star character and three re-runs within one update. The first part of the previous Genshin Impact update 3.4 introduced two new Dendro characters, Alhaitham and Yaoyao.

Previous revenue reports revealed that the Yelan and Hu Tao double banner managed to break Genshin Impact overall revenue record when it comes to banner sales. A Reddit user by the name TimocaSamJa has shared an interesting chart that shows the difference in sales between the two featured five-star characters. According to the post, Yelan's sales amount to 60% of the banner's total revenue. This came as a surprise to many fans considering that there was more hype around Hu Tao's re-run in the community since she skipped 10 consecutive updates before receiving a re-run. Her previous banner appearance was during version 2.2 which arrived in November 2021.
