These days it seems like we just can’t get enough of them, and Gamakay’s newest addition to their keyboard lineup, the Gamakay TK75PRO, a 75% keyboard that just adds more fuel to the fire for fellow keyboard enthusiasts like myself. Whether it be gaming or writing, I’m always on the lookout for a comfortable and responsive keyboard. With a hefty aluminum frame, hot-swappable switches, lengthy battery life, and tons of connectivity options, the Gamakay TK75PRO might just be shaping up to be my new favorite gaming keyboard.
Opening the TK75PRO was like ripping open a new Christmas present and I couldn’t wait to dig in. A plastic keyboard cover to protect the keys, frosted tissue, and a perfectly fitted box to hold the keyboard and any cords or pieces underneath were the only things holding me back. Lifting the TK75PRO out of the box, I was surprised at the actual weight and heft of the frame. This brings me to my first and favorite feature combination of the TK75PRO: the aluminum frame and the gasket mount design. There is an almost instinctive satisfaction in the weight of a solid-aluminum frame that I have begun to look for in every keyboard I purchase—and this sucker is heavy. It makes every tick-tack and keystroke feel like a deliberate, quality experience. The TK75PRO absolutely nails this concept, oozing quality and stability with its aluminum foundation.
