Forza Motorsport has released Update 5, which includes the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife track, cars from various German manufacturers, and new Tours. The new update also introduces some gameplay improvements and bug fixes to Forza Motorsport.
Forza Motorsport's last major patch was Update 4, which released on January 16. The update added the iconic Daytona International Speedway and allowed users to race on both of its layouts, the high-speed Tri-oval Circuit and the more technical Sports Car Circuit. Update 4 also focused on Italian automobiles by introducing the Italian Challengers Career Tour, which featured cars from manufacturers like Lancia, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, and Ferrari. Update 5 continues this trend by adding another famous track and focusing on another nation's automobile industry.
Forza Motorsport's Update 5 features cars from German manufacturers BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz AMG, and Porsche. Fans can race these automobiles in the update's new Career Tour, called the Ringer Tour. Completing all four series of the Ringer Tour rewards users with a 2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS. Additionally, fans can compete in the new Open Tour, where users will be gifted a 1974 Porsche #1 911 RSR for completing all four of its series. As for multiplayer, fans have four new Spec Series to participate in, with the first one being Grand Prix Rivals, which runs from February 15 to February 22 and sees players race in iconic formula cars from the late 1980s and 1990s. Other Multiplayer Spec Series to be added later in Update 5's lifespan include the Mustang Shelby GT500 Spec Series, GTX Sportscar Series, and Forza Proto-H Series. Forza Motorsport also added to its collection of tracks by introducing the Nordschleife, a classic section of the Nurburgring built in the 1920s.
Forza Motorsport's Update 5 introduces new Rivals events including the Nurburgring Nordschleife Spotlight, which challenges users to speed through the legendary track while driving a 1979 BMW #6 Motorsport
