Fortnite Players Have Already Recreated Grove Street In Creative 2.0
Fortnite received its Creative Mode 2.0 update yesterday, and it hasn't taken long for fans to make some stunning creations thanks to the new Unreal Editor tools. One has already recreated Fortnite Chapter 1's entire island, while another used Unreal Editor to turn Fortnite into a creepy horror puzzle game full of dark corridors and spine-tingling sounds. Today, another Fortnite studio has brought us an homage to one of the most famous neighborhoods in all of gaming.
Beyond Creative is an Epic-partnered studio that has used the new Unreal Editor to recreate Grove Street, the home of CJ in GTA: San Andreas. Although, it looks like this particular Grove Street likely used GTA Online as its inspiration. There's way more fine detail than in the original PS2 game, like the overturned bike, planes flying overhead, and just a light sprinkling of trash to make it seem like a run-down neighborhood. Well, that and the graffiti and boarded-up windows of course.

Grove Street in Fortnite looks way better than anything we'll ever see in GTA, barring the possibility of Grove Street appearing in GTA 6. However, it sounds like GTA 6 will return to Vice City judging by both the leaks and a group of GTA fans that have been piecing the map together in MS Paint.
Besides the Grove Street recreation, Beyond Creative also provides a bit of a nod to God of War with its next scene. The bald protagonist certainly gives off Kratos vibes with those twin morning stars, but the design is clearly unique, as is the cave that he jumps out of. It's still an impressive display of the new Unreal Editor, and one we hope to see more of in the coming days.
