Circana released its monthly video game sales report for February 2023 in the United States. It offers a breakdown of the best-selling games, consoles, and other video game hardware, and is ranked by dollar sales. Most notably, Hogwarts Legacy topped the sales charts, and was the best-selling game of February and of 2023 overall, so far.

Game content, hardware, and accessories reached a total of $4.6 billion in sales during February 2023, which is around 6% high than the same time in 2022. Spending across the board was up from February 2022, with hardware increasing by 68%, accessories up by 13%, and game content up by 1%. Circana says February 2023 marks the highest monthly year-on-year growth since October 2021.

As for mobile spending, the top games were Candy Crush Saga, Roblox, Royal Match, Pokémon Go, Coin Master, Township, Bingo Blitz, Homescapes, Jackpot Party, and Evony. Circana notes that Pokémon Go had an increase in spending of 23% from January 2023 (according to Sensor Tower).
