In , magic and spells take the place of weapons for protagonist Frey. While many combinations and types of spells are used in the game, some are more offensive than others. And of those, some of them will be more valuable to players as they traverse the land of Athia.
There are four main types of spells in . Support spells are primarily defensive, and while some deal damage, Frey is not directly controlling them. Movement spells are those that Frey can use to Parkour across the open world, traversing every type of terrain with ease. Other utility spells give Frey perks but are not used actively in combat. Finally, surge spells, while offensive in nature, are the “ultimate” moves of this game, and they can only be triggered by building up enough points.
