The 26th Annual DICE Awards were held in Las Vegas tonight, and while God of War: Ragnarok took home seven separate awards, including Outstanding Achievement in Story, Elden Ring brought FromSoftware another Game of the Year award.
Hosted by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, DICE celebrates the best and brightest in the games industry. The industry came together this year at The Resorts World in Las Vegas for a week of workshops, round tables, and more, culminating in the 26th Annual awards show.
Sony's epic adventure game God of War: Ragnarok took home a stunning seven awards, including Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Art Direction, Original Music Composition and more. Elden Ring, the latest Soulslike that took the industry by storm in 2022 took home multiple awards as well, including the coveted Game of the Year 2022.
Other categories included best fighting game, which was won by genre newcomer Multiversus, while MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV took home the award for best Online Game of 2022.
