Saber Interactive and Focus Home Entertainment are detailing its plans for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2’s post launch content in a new video published this week.
The gory third person shooter’s first major update will include a new PvE operation, tasking squads with taking on a Tyranid Hierophant Bio-Titan. Existing operations (as well as the new operation) can be played at the new Lethal difficulty for players who want to revisit or tackle new content at a higher challenge. A new Neo-Volkite pistol will also be available to use in combat. Season Pass owners will also get a set of Dark Angels cosmetics before the year is out.
Saber has at least a full year of post launch content planned for the game and later on in Season 3 players can expect to enjoy new PvE missions, new PvP arenas, other game modes, and even prestige ranks. A new enemy type will be added to the game in Season 4 along with a new weapon, and a horde mode that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is a sequel to 2011’s Warhammer 40K: Space Marine and is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
