Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Update Adds Neo-Volkite Pistol, Buffs Weapons in Operations
Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has received a new update, adding a new secondary weapon – the Neo-Volkite Pistol. Usable by the Assault, Vanguard, and Bulwark classes, the beam weapon is great for cooking Tyranids. Check it out in action below.
While ideal for ramping thermal damage, concentrating on a single enemy will create an explosion for even more damage (and an AoE effect). The downside is that the Neo-Volkite is only available in Operations due to ongoing PvP balancing.
As per Saber, “It will be added to Eternal War mode in our next major update alongside a new Operations map, a new enemy, and the Dark Angels cosmetics.” However, it is usable when fighting other players in the Sparring Arena onboard the Battle Barge.
Update 4.5 also brings weapon balance changes, like slightly reduced heat for three Plasma Incinerator variants, increased fire rate for the Bolt Sniper Rifle, a scope for the Occulus Bolt Carbine, and more. Check them out below.
