Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launched in early access for owners of the game’s Premium Edition last week, and on the eve of its global launch, the game has seen the release of its first update, which, as previously promised, adds a significant tech feature on PC.
Specifically, full ray tracing (aka Path Tracing) is now available in the game’s PC version for anyone using at least a 12 GB VRAM Nvidia card, while a future update will also add support for AMD FSR. Beyond that, the update also adds fixes for a couple of crashes, several gameplay and UI related bugs, and issues specific to certain quests. Meanwhile, the PC version also gets several fixes. You can check out the full patch notes below, though be warned that there are some spoilers in there.
In our review of the game, we awarded it a score of 9/10, saying, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle captures its source material’s vibe down to a T, delivering an authentic, swashbuckling Indiana Jones adventure that can stand toe-to-toe with the original trilogy, while strong level design, compelling exploration, smartly designed puzzles, and enjoyable stealth and combat also combine in a well-crafted gameplay experience that might just be MachineGames’ best outing to date.” Read the full review through here.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC. It launches for PS5 in Spring next year.
