With The Game Awards 2024 now not far away, we’re beginning to get increasing details on what to expect from the event, and though we don’t yet know much about what announcements the show will bring, other tidbits are emerging nonetheless.
For instance, it has been announced that Hideo Kojima will be in attendance at The Game Awards later this week, and will also be presenting an award at the show. Of course, being a presenter doesn’t necessarily have to mean we’ll also be seeing something from Kojima on-stage, but with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach scheduled to release sometime in 2025, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a new trailer for the game- perhaps even one with a narrower release date or window. Either way, one way or another, Kojima will be in attendance at the show and will be making an appearance.
The Game Awards are set for December 12, and as per recent reports, will feature some “very big” announcements. It Takes Two developer Hazelight Studios’ next game is rumoured to be unveiled at the show, while Tekken 8’s next DLC character will also be announced, as recently confirmed by Bandai Namco.
