There is always a ton of hype built up around Final Fantasy. This long-running video game franchise has continued to see new thrilling installments released regularly. Now fans are waiting on the launch of Final Fantasy 16 to hit the marketplace. But those of you who are expecting this title to get delayed might be proven wrong. A recent post from the official PlayStation blog unveiled that the development studio is extremely confident that Final Fantasy 16 will be launching into the marketplace on time this coming June.
The comments came from Naoki Yoshida, the producer of Final Fantasy 16. In a recent PlayStation blog post, the producer made mention of the upcoming launch of the next major installment to the Final Fantasy franchise. In fact, you can go ahead and mark your calendars because the only thing that could prevent Final Fantasy 16 from being delayed from the intended launch date is a natural disaster. So as long as no meteors come crashing down or a massive earthquake hits the development studios headquarters, we should see this game land at your favorite local retailer if not purchased digitally from the PlayStation storefront.
Players eager to dive into this game might also assume that this installment is going to see a release on the PC platform shortly after its release. If you don’t recall, Final Fantasy 16 only has a six-month exclusivity deal. That might have persuaded some players to assume a PC port of the game would be coming within half a year from the initial launch date. But that’s not the case.
