Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for the week of August 26, 2024 to September 1, 2024.
Gundam Breaker 4 was the highest selling new game release of the week, opening at 52,825 copies on Switch, 32,518 copies on PlayStation 5, and 13,175 copies on PlayStation 4 for an opening week total of 98,518 retail copies sold.
Also new this week, Visions of Mana debuted at 30,696 copies on PlayStation 5 and 10,068 copies on PlayStation 4 for an opening week total of 40,764 retail copies.
The physical edition of Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash also opened strong at 37,939 copies sold.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 63,651 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 33,865 units, the Xbox Series family sold 778 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 91 units.
