EVE Online Viridian Expansion is Live, Offering a Suite of New Features for Corporation Success

EVE Online Is ready to overhaul Corporation management with new upgrades, add new features, visual enhancements, and much more with the brand new expansion, Viridian, out today.

This new expansion, which will be the first this year, follows the game’s 20th anniversary and CCP games' efforts to set EVE Online up for even more long-term success. Personalize Upwell structures, set goals, and take advantage of new features to better manage your corporations. Among these are the new Corporation Projects feature that you can use to  set those goals and track their progress. Upwell structures get customization options with the new Heraldry system. And you can even have more ways to teach recruits how to maximize your corporation’s success with a new interface, AIR Opportunities.

It's a big expansion, and CCP has subtitled it “For the Glory of Your Corp”. They mean business this time, not only with the new combat strategies available with the new ships, the new strategic planning for corporations, and much more. Homefront Operations is a new feature that lets you play and engage with others on these adventures where you can boost your skills and even recruit new members. 

EVE Online Creative Director Bergur Finnbogason says in the announcement release, “Viridian is a testament to E VE Online’s 20 years of innovation and immersion. This expansion propels corporation leaders and their members to unprecedented heights. Build influence, fly with friends, foster stronger connections, and unite for collective glory!”

You'll also be able to build thenew tech to Lancer II Dreadnought ships, and these ships come with a disruptive AOE Weaponry system, so you'll have new strategies and new ways to engage in tactical combat.
