Another busy week, and another wonderful weekend ready to help us recover for it all is just around the corner. I’ve played some fantastic games this week, including some more of Synapse, which is the next great PSVR 2 experience after Horizon, and Dordogne which is a genuinely emotional and visually beautiful indie game. I’ve also continued to plug away at Final Fantasy XVI and made a start with Kingdom Eighties as well.
Aran was the first to drop in this week, he’s been playing A Long Journey to an Unexpected End for review, saying that “so far it’s fun. I’ll have more details next week”. He’s also played a bit more Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands as something completely different.
Ade has been playing AEW: Fight Forever and Crash Team Rumble for review. One is lots of fun, the other less so, can you guess which is which?
Nick P has played more Street Fighter 6, as well as dipping into Dead by Daylight, Fortnite, Overwatch 2, Diablo IV and Helldivers! Quite the lineup!
Meanwhile, Jim is grinding through Diablo IV but he’s says that things have definitely slowed down on that front. “Getting to the point where I’ve locked in a decent build while blitzing my way through the story missions which has become a little bit of a slog with the game’s story yet to reel me in”. He’s also dived into some more Final Fantasy IX as well as Ryse: Son of Rome on Steam Deck.
Gamoc has also been playing Diablo IV, as well as Cyberpunk and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Steve’s week has been almost all about ‘The Adventures of Emo Clive’ where he’s on the last batch of sidequests before the point of no return. He says, ‘I’m gonna have to decide whether NG+ and the platinum appeals or if I’ll move on to the cheap copy of Jedi Survivor I picked up.
