Before Mortal Kombat 1 was officially announced earlier this year, rumors were spreading like wildfire about potential guest characters and who would be available on the game's base roster. One of these rumors from Windows Central suggested that Mortal Kombat 1 will see both Peacemaker and Homelander join the roster after launch, with potentially even more DC characters joining later down the line.
Well, it seems like that rumor was true, as an official TikTok account for The Boys TV show has confirmed that Homelander will be coming to Mortal Kombat 1, though it doesn't reveal when. In a TikTok video that announces an upcoming collaboration between The Boys and Call of Duty, a fan excitedly comments about the possibility of there being a Mortal Kombat collaboration as well.

In response, the official TikTok account simply replies with "MK confirmed", later clarifying that Homelander will "be available at some point" but stresses that it can't say much more than that. Obviously, the TikTok account isn't going to know much about the possibility of a Peacemaker crossover as well, though given that Homelander's arrival is now confirmed, it makes the previous rumor much stronger as a result.
It's also worth noting that this confirmation strengthens a recent leak from Amazon Italy which seemingly revealed the contents of the game's first Kombat Pack. Earlier this year, a Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 was listed on the site which revealed the potential return of previous characters in the series such as Quan Chi, Takeda, and Ermac, as well as crossovers with Homelander, Peacemaker, and Omni-Man.
