Homelander has seemingly been confirmed as a DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1.
The character, who will also be added to Call of Duty later this week has been rumored to appear in the fighting game for some time. Now, an official TikTok account has seemingly confirmed his inclusion in Mortal Kombat.
In response to a fan asking “Cod and possibly MK?,” the Vought International Studios account responded, “MK confirmed.”

The rest of Mortal Kombat 1’s DLC offering was seemingly leaked via an Amazon Italy product listing earlier this year.
The DLC fighters will be Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Takeda, Peacemaker, and the aforementioned Homelander, according to the listing.
Announced in May and set for release on September 19, the game “will introduce a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe that has been created by the Fire God Liu Kang, featuring reimagined versions of iconic characters as they’ve never been seen before”.
NetherRealm is developing the current-gen console versions of the game and overseeing development of the PC and Nintendo Switch versions, which are being handled by QLOC and Shiver Entertainment / Saber Interactive respectively.
Players who buy Mortal Kombat 1’s Premium Edition or Kollector’s Edition will get early access to the game beginning on September 14.
These two editions of the game also include a Kombat Pack offering early access to six new playable characters.
All Mortal Kombat 1 pre-orders will grant players Shang Tsung as an in-game playable character, and players who pre-order for PS5 or Xbox Series X/S will receive access to a Mortal Kombat 1 beta in August.
