's ongoing range of Squishmallow plushes continues to draw the eye of collectors and fans alike, especially as the variety of pocket monsters increases. While the range already includes plenty of fan favorites like Teddiursa, Piplup, and franchise mascot Pikachu, Dragon-Types have been sorely under-represented. Fortunately, that's about to change with the reveal of the official Dragonite Squishmallow plush, which is set to become very difficult to purchase.
As revealed on X by Pokémon Deals & News, the Dragonite Squishmallow adapts the Dragon/Flying-Type into the iconic shape of the popular plush brand. Somewhat breaking from the traditional mold, the Dragonite Squishmallow boasts a snout rather than a flat nose as well as additional accenting details like its antenna and wings. While it's yet to be confirmed, based on previous Squishmallow collaborations, the Dragonite plush will first be available in a 12" size that will be exclusive to the Pokémon Center.
This means that fans may struggle to get their hands on the item given the limited amount of stock that will be available. Pokémon Centers are the only outlets that stock 12" Squishmallows, so they'll be especially rare. merchandise, especially Squishmallows, tend to sell out incredibly quickly. At the moment of publication, four of the currently available Squishmallows are still sold out: Gengar, Snorlax, Togepi, and Pikachu.
There is some hope for fans desperate to get their hands on the adorable Dragonite. At the time of writing, a Walmart listing for the Dragonite Squishmallow suggests that the 10" version of the toy will be available outside of the Pokémon Center. The retailer's page specifies that the product is out of stock, but this may just be a placeholder given that it's yet to officially launch.
