Many players find that their enjoyment in ARPGs comes from buying and selling items and making gold — and Diablo 4 is no different. Recently, however, players have noted that those who play Diablo 4 on console have a rather inconvenient disadvantage when it comes to trading — you can't select an exact gold amount for trade, and instead have to hold the select button as the amount slowly counts up.

User ProximusCenturi on Reddit recently created a thread highlighting the issue, using screenshots from a Discord trading channel.
In it, the discussion is had about trading and if the seller is willing to work with the buyer and «wait» — because instead of being able to type in or otherwise easily select the (large) sum of 1 Billion gold, the buyer must manually wait as the gold amount offered ticks up, while also being unable to precisely land on the 1b mark.
