Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 has done well for the company in terms of revenue earned, but its journey has only begun. Season 1 starts in mid to late July and requires making a new character for the Battle Pass content. Before that, a new patch is available to fix bugs and buff rewards for various end-game activities.
Nightmare Dungeons now rewards significantly more XP from slaying enemies and completion. Even better, you can now teleport directly to them, making it much easier to farm them. Helltide Chests also offer “substantially” more bonus XP when opened, and the individual Whispers completed for the Tree of Whispers also award more experience across the board.
You can also expect the roaming bosses in Helltides to drop higher-quality loot more consistently. The development team is working on increasing the monster and Elite density in the end game. Expect this change to go live early in Season 1. Check out some of the patch notes below in the meantime.
