Diablo 4 Mount Speed Based on Cursor Distance From Character
Getting your Mount is a right of passage in Sanctuary — you won't be walking miles uphill through the snow both ways to get to your dungeons anymore! Did you know, however, that there's a trick to getting your Mount to move faster? Diablo 4 Mounts Guide Now Live That's right — your Mount has four base speeds! Depending on the location of your mouse as you move, your Mount will either walk slowly, walk quickly, trot, or gallop, as seen in the video below: By using Spur, a special Mount ability (default hotkey Space while Mounted), players can then gain an additional burst of speed while galloping.
Be careful, though — if you're not at a full gallop, Spur won't do anything! Given all the different speeds and animations and the work that had to have gone into the Mount system, it's nice to know that Blizzard allows RP-walking while you're Mounted!
