The newly-released Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor has shifted over 500,000 copies in its first week on sale.
That's according to developer Funday, which said in a post on Steam that it was "humbled" by the title's reception. Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor made its debut into Early Access on February 14th.
"What a week it’s been. First of all, a huge thanks to all of you for making the early access launch exceed our wildest imagination," Funday wrote.
"We never imagined the game would sell more than 500.000 units in just a week. We are humbled, grateful, and very very busy working on the game."
Survivor is a spin-off to Deep Rock Galactic from Ghost Ship Games. That title has shifted over 5.5 million copies since its Early Access debut back in 2018.
Ghost Ship announced it was opening a publishing division in February 2023, which has since gone on to release Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor.
