Each vocation has its own weapon and armour requirements, while boasting unique attacks, skills, and perks that define your style of play.

There are a total of ten vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2. Right near the very beginning of the game, you'll choose one starting vocation — from an initial four options — and then a little later, you'll be free to switch between vocations if you feel like it, by visiting a Vocation Guild.
However, in order to unlock the remaining six vocations, you'll need to do some exploring (and some questing). Several vocations are typically unlocked much later in the game.
