Warning! Contains a preview for Batman: The Knight #2
A new preview for DC Comics' Batman: The Knight #2 will potentially reveal how young Bruce Wayne learned one of his most iconic moves as the Caped Crusader. In this new series, Chip Zdarsky is revealing the definitive story of Bruce Wayne's training abroad as a young man, gaining the skills needed to become the Dark Knight of the present. Apparently, this will also include the classic move he most often uses, with Commissioner Jim Gordon being its most frequent victim.
In the first issue of Batman: The Knight, it's revealed just how disturbed (yet dedicated) Bruce Wayne was as a child. Full of rage, Bruce concluded that he needed to find a means to focus his anger needing some sort of purpose. Eventually, Bruce decides to become a modern-day knight and seeker of justice (the Bat motif comes later). As such, Bruce Wayne departs Gotham for Paris featuring his first days abroad, looking to learn and master every skill he can in his hope to become something far greater than he currently is.

Now, this new preview for Batman: The Knight #2 from Chip Zdarsky and Carmine Di Giandomenico sees Bruce crossing paths with a French cat burglar actively committing a theft. While the young Wayne wants to bring her in, it quickly becomes clear that the inexperienced vigilante is very much out of his element. Not only that, but she vanishes without a trace, leaving Bruce incredulously wondering how she's able to disappear so fast, a move he himself would perfect in the present (most often after conversations with Jim Gordon). Here are the preview pages and synopsis for the upcoming issue:
