Paul Dano says that he had trouble sleeping after playing the Riddler in Matt Reeves' The Batman. The marketing campaign for the upcoming Warner Bros. movie is in full swing with actors currently doing press interviews. While they can't talk about the movie's plot specifics, their comments on their experience somehow inform the public what they can expect from the highly anticipated flick.
Originally Ben Affleck's Batman standalone film, the project was reworked when the actor exited the DCEU on the heels of his horrible experience working on the troubled Justice League. Reeves changed the storyline and opted to focus on a younger Bruce Wayne who's just in his second year of being the Dark Knight. Robert Pattinson was cast in the role, and Warner Bros. built a brilliant ensemble supporting cast to join him in The Batman. It includes Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Collin Farrell as Penguin, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth. Meanwhile, Dano was tapped to portray villain Edward Nygma, a.k.a. the Riddler.
