Blade of God X: Orisols is a dark-themed ARPG full of Nordic mayhem and myths. Ready to drag you right into its shadows, it’s the official sequel to the Blade of God series. Created by VoidLabs BOGX, it’s now out on Android.
In Blade of God X: Orisols, you play as an Inheritor who’s a poor soul caught in an endless cycle of rebirth. Your journey kicks off in Muspelheim, but you’ll be hopping through different realms connected by the legendary World Tree.
The game’s lore is like a Norse mythology. It lets you mess with timelines like Voidom, Primglory and Trurem. You also get to make important decisions like choosing Sacrifice or Redemption. Each choice unlocks different paths, artefacts and even the help of iconic gods like Odin or Loki.
If you loved the combo system in the first Blade of God, Blade of God X: Orisols offers a good amount of upgrades which are even better than the previous ones. Dynamic combos, skill chains and counterattacks are some examples.
The game has a Soul Core system which lets you collect souls and embed them into your skill chains. This means you can channel the powers of monsters and personalize your combat style.
You can join a Caravan for some PvP gameplay and assist with the Hand of Corruption. And while you’re hacking through deities and monsters, the game wants you to think about sacrifice. For instance, is it worth trading love, freedom or health for something?
Visually, Blade of God X doesn’t hold back. With 4K support, the game’s dark, mythic world looks stunning. And to top it off, the soundtrack is a full-on symphonic experience, crafted in collaboration with a legit Philharmonic Orchestra. It’s like your ears are getting a VIP pass to Ragnarok.
So if you’re into brutal combat and Norse mythology, check out Blade of God X: Orisols on the Google Play Store.
