Marvel Contest of Champions Is Dropping New Year-Special Champions and Quests!

With the New Year, Marvel Contest of Champions has dropped new Champions, new quests, relaunch of Summoner’s Sigil market and some intense Wakandan drama. In fact, it kicked off 2025 with its annual Summoner’s Choice Champion Vote.

If you’re yet to vote for your favourite Champion, head to MCOC’s X account and dive into the fun. Meanwhile, the devs also dropped a new Deathless trailer featuring Thanos. Yep, the Deathless Saga continues. Catch a glimpse of the trailer right here!

You can dive into The Mausoleum now which is a permanent quest. After taking down four Deathless already, Deathless Thanos still needs convincing that you’re worthy of standing among their ranks.

The two new Champions are straight out of Wakanda. On January 16th, you can snag Okoye, the fierce General of the Dora Milaje. She’s been protecting Wakandan royalty with unmatched skill and wisdom.

Then on January 30th, Gentle steps into the ring. He’s a mutant with a tragic past and Nezhno Abidemi can bulk up with Vibranium tattoos, giving him insane strength. With these two joining over 280 existing Champions, your roster is going to look stacked.

Gentle has you working on a stealth mission to figure out why Vibranium is suddenly falling apart. Meanwhile, Okoye is busy facing the Deathless herself, trying to stop some dark doppelgangers who’ve stolen Wakandan artefacts for a ritual.

You can earn Kimoyo Beads during the Death Drive Event to track down the stolen artefacts and open up paths in the Vault of Strength, Vault of Violence, Vault of Conviction and Vault of Rage. Each vault is packed with rewards.

Kabam is also giving the Summoner’s Sigil a makeover. Relaunching on January 27th, there are new stuff in the monthly subscription now. So, check out all of these by grabbing MCOC from the Google Play Store.
