The Batsuit this time around has a more rugged and metallic look, and Pattinson recently revealed how his The Batman suit even forced the rest of the cast and crew to act differently around him, noting how wearing such a suit almost gave him this totemic power. That same anxious feeling was no different for Farrell, who portrays the crime boss Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin in the film.

In all of his Penguin makeup and prosthetics, ready to start filming, Farrell recalls looking up at Pattinson, who was filming on top of a building, and seeing the actor in his Batsuit, sharing why that moment was so meaningful. «The first time I saw Rob in the Batsuit, it was the first time I saw the Batman. I pulled up to the set, we were doing the warehouse scene just before the car chase,» Farrell said to Twitter Movies. «I got out of the car — in full costume, full makeup, ready to shoot — and I looked up on the roof. They were just finishing a shot up on the roof with Batman, and swear to God: he was looking down, the cape was blowing in the wind, he was backlit, I could see the cowl, the two ears sticking up. It was two o'clock in the morning, and I just thought, 'Oh, my God, there it is.' Not even 'he,' but 'it.'»
