A fan inspired by The Batman’s grit has created a crossover poster that mashes Bruce Wayne’s suit with Daredevil’s more practical costume from the Netflix series. Matt Reeves’ DC reboot starring Robert Pattinson’s Caped Crusader was released in theaters earlier this month. In addition to Pattinson, the film stars Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Lieutenant James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/Riddler.
Following in the footsteps of Christopher Nolan’s pre-DCEU Dark Knight trilogy, The Batman introduces many well-known DC characters to perhaps the most grounded and gritty version of Gotham yet. Inspired by comics like Batman: Year One and The Long Halloween, The Batman focuses on Bruce Wayne’s second year as the city’s vengeful vigilante as he hunts the Zodiac killer-esque Riddler. Filled with murder, mayhem, and hallway fights not dissimilar to Daredevil's signature brawls, The Batman has quickly become one of the darkest and most critically acclaimed DC films ever.

In the wake of The Batman’s release, artist Venomhology on Instagram recently shared a poster crossing over the titular hero with Daredevil. The piece sees Pattinson’s Batman costume spliced with the non-bulletproof outfit Charlie Cox wears in season 1 and season 3 of the show. They're set against a backdrop adorned with question marks and a bullseye—a reference to their respective villains. Check it out below:
