Batman Unburied is a brand-new Batman audio adventure from Spotify and written by David S. Goyer. Leading the all-star cast is Winston Duke (Black Panther) as Dr. Bruce Wayne/Batman, with comedian Hasan Minhaj as The Riddler (Patriot Act), Gina Rodriguez (Annihilation) as Barbara Gordon, Gotham PD's best detective.
Joining them will be Lance Reddick as Thomas Wayne, Toks Olagundoye as Martha Wayne, Jason Isaacs as loyal butler Alfred, John Rhys-Davies as Dr. Hunter, Ashly Burch as Vicki Vale, Jessica Marie Garcia as Renee Montoya, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Kell, and Jim Pirri as Flass. You can check out the first trailer below.
The series will also introduce the new villain called The Harvester, voiced by Sam Witwer, who returns to the DCU after voicing Orm in Aquaman: Throne of Atlantis, and the first live-action Doomsday in Smallville.
In this take on Batman, Bruce Wayne now works as a forensic pathologist in Gotham Hospital, where he has to examine the victims of The Harvester. As the story unfolds, Bruce will have to overcome his own ghosts of the past and assume his identity as Batman in order to save Gotham City.
The series is directed by Alex Kemp and written by Eric Carrasco (Supergirl), Saladin Ahmed (Miles Morales: Spider-Man), Rebecca Klingel (The Haunting of Hill House), and Graham Westerson (Stranger Things). You can follow the new adventure for yourself when the Spotify-exclusive Batman: Unburied debuts on May 3.
