Director Matt Reeves releases a 4K version of The Batman's deleted scene which offers a better look at Barry Keoghan's Joker. The Batman has enjoyed an incredible box office run thus far as it now enters its fourth weekend in theatres. Reeves' detective-noir take on the beloved comic book hero sees Robert Pattinson become Gotham's Caped Crusader, as the story follows a young Bruce Wayne in his second year asBatman. The film, which recently surpassed an eye-watering $600 million at the global box office, also stars Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright and Andy Serkis.
However, there was one other star who left a rather lasting impression on audiences once The Batman's credits began to roll. Named only as «Unseen Arkham Prisoner» on the official cast list, Keoghan appeared in a short scene during The Batman's final moments. The scene offered a handful of both spoken and visual hints as to his true identity of The Joker, despite the fact the character did for the most part remain 'unseen.' Reeves previously teased that a longer scene involving Keoghan's Joker had unfortunately been cut from the film, and many were delighted when this much-anticipated deleted scene was finally released online. The clip sees Batman visit Joker in Arkham Asylum in an attempt to find out some information about The Riddler, and offers the first full look at Keoghan's impressive transformation.
