A recently shared video has recreated the iconic Penguin chase scene from The Batman in Batman: Arkham Knight. The Arkham games have borrowed from various live-action Batman films, but there has yet to be any news about video game content for the recently released Robert Pattinson-helmed blockbuster.
As the final game in a massively popular trilogy, Arkham Knight had a lot to live up to. As such, the developers at Rocksteady Games put a great deal of effort into the game's visuals, animations, gameplay, and design, making it the most feature-rich and fleshed-out entry in the series. One of the biggest (and most contentious) additions was the Batmobile, which allowed players to travel through Gotham at blindingly high speeds and take out unmanned drones with turrets and missiles. The Batmobile was also frequently used in platforming and puzzle segments. Some players weren't happy with how the vehicle was implemented due to how it affected immersion, while others praised it for its tight and satisfying controls.

While it doesn't look like a new Batman: Arkham game will be released, its spirit lives on in an assortment of lovingly made fan edits and cinematics. A video shared by YouTube channel Batman Arkham Videos (via Game Rant) mashes up Batman: Arkham Knight with The Batman by recreating one of the film's most iconic moments: the Batman-Penguin car chase. Just like in the movie, Batman gives chase to the Penguin down a slick and darkened city street. Once Penguin's car is overturned, the viewer can watch from his perspective as Batman slowly approaches the vehicle on foot, backed by Michael Giacchino's menacing score.
