wowhead.comWith the announcement of the next World of Warcraft expansion, The War Within, one of the smaller changes that players can see in-game is the Character Boost services in the in-game shop — Which has been updated to boost a character to level 70!
You can purchase a level 70 boost for $60 or receive a discount by purchasing 2 level 70 boosts for $100, a new option that players can opt to use. You also receive a free level 70 boost when pre-ordering any edition of The War Within.

One thing players have noticed with this new version of the boost, is that you do not simply get your level increased to 70 — You get a massive Renown boost with almost all of the Dragonflight Renown factions, which is a huge boon for players who have not played the expansion! A boosted character will get their Renown levels increased to the following:
- Renown 20 with the Dragonscale Expedition;
- Renown 20 with the Maruuk Centaur;
- Renown 20 with the Iskaara Tuskarr;
- Renown 20 with the Valdrakken Accord;
- Renown 12 with the Loamm Niffen.
- No Renown increased with the Dream Wardens.

In addition to this, a Level 70 boosted character receives a full set of ilvl 424 gear, which is not upgradeable — But strong enough to jump right into questing into Patch 10.2 content, unlike past expansion boosts!
